Wedding Showcase Sunday 18th April 2010

We would like to invite you to our very special Wedding Showcase to be held on Sunday 18th April from 2pm until 5 pm.

We decided this year to forgo our normal Wedding Fayre in February in favour of hosting an exciting Wedding Competition where the first prize is a Free Wedding worth in excess of £5000. We have had a fantastic response and so one element of the show is to announce the winners and the runners up.  If therefore you have entered the competition, you should really be there!

But there is much more. …
We have teamed up with Tanners Wines of Shrewsbury and we are holding a wine tasting with them for a series of Wine upgrades using Tanners own labelled wine. Tanners have an enviable reputation in this country and enormous care and time goes into their own label wines. See for yourself.

Our Kitchen team have been awarded the coveted 2 AA Rosette award for their culinary skills and our Head Chef, Tom Court and his team will be on hand to let you taste many of the dishes that are featured on our Wedding Menus.

The venue will be set up to show you several different styles to help give you a good idea of the options available and suppliers who are featured in the Wedding Competition and others will be on hand to give you advice. This includes the Cake Lady, Flowers By Julie, Donna Blundell, Nick and Sam photography and others.

We are hoping that the weather will be benevolent which means you will have a chance to walk round our Gardens and take a look at our burgeoning Market Garden adjacent to the hotel. This 2 acre Garden will be supplying many of the fresh, Fruit, Vegetables and Herbs that feature in our cooking at the Granary.

In addition you can see new Garden Furniture, new landscaping, the elegant 4 Poster Wedding Suites using Indonesian Teak and contemporary furniture and to meet with myself and the staff who will run and work your wedding.
