Open Day Sunday 3rd July 2011

Approximately 20 - 25 people turned up to work on the Market Garden project . Weeds! There are weeds and there are WEEDS!  The current weather has encouraged not only Fruit and Veg to grow but also a host of every sort of weed you can think of. It was more of a task than we imagined. We have recalcitrant weeds, stroppy weeds, implacable weeds, and weeds with attitude! What resistance.

But we overcame and the afternoon was great fun; a chance for people involved to meet up and to partake of a Barbecue afterwards. A huge thank you to all who attended and put in so much effort.
